'people who spend their Christmases delivering meals on wheels and shit like that to people.'

I'll have a sausage hotpot if you're in and around the city at the moment, Surface?

No mention of Evangelical nutjobs then?

'Who needs EVIDENCE?'

I think you've summed up your own contribution to this and every other debate you've involved yourself in right there.

I love it that you have decided I am religious without any evidence whatsoever.

To be fair, The Red Cross are true heroes.

Re: Religious Hatred is OK, But Racism is Bad?
Can't say I do.

I don't believe in giving people shit for what they believe though. It's entirely up to them, as long as they don't inflict it on everyone else.

I'd suggest that in probably 99% of cases that people on here encounter religious people, they do absolutely no harm whatsoever and are, in most communities in this country, a mild-mannered and positive influence.

If I was going to spend my time coating a bunch of people off, to be frank, I'd be pick a much harder target than the local librarians, flower arrangers and people who spend their Christmases delivering meals on wheels and shit like that to people.

But crack on, you big bad hard men.

You been out collecting for charity, Stewie?

Me, Jibbers? Nah. I do become quite prtective over them around this time of year though.

They're out and about, doing stuff, collecting for charity and shit like that.

You, and all the dullard science nerds on here whose heads are so far up your arses you don't know what day of the week it is, are spending your time ramming your opinions down people's throats on a football forum.

I know who the cunts are in that equation.

Here he is, my favourite pilgrim of them all. The one who is too embarrassed to admit outright to being a weak minded sheep.

Come on, broaden those shoulders, are you one of those that follows to the letter, or do you just use the bits that help you get through life?

'Religious people can be very bigoted. For starters they think they're 'better people' than nonbelievers.'

A bit like Labour, Lib Dem and Green supporters.

Re: Religious Hatred is OK, But Racism is Bad?
If someone tells me that they talk to fairies and elves, I can laugh at them and tell them they are deluded. Ridicule is not hatred and if they feel offended, then it's tough.
The same applies to anyone who says they speak to a God, or quote 'holy' texts at me. They have a right to believe what they will and I respect that right. I have a right to tell them that they are deluded and have no evidence. If they feel offended, then tough. Ridicule, is not hatred and it isn't racist. Belief in some bronze age 'sky daddy' is ridiculous.

>>> Provided you do not intend to incite racial hatred you are not committing the offence.

Have to be careful with that though, as your interpretation of your intentions might not match the state's.

The Human Stain 2:11 Fri Dec 19
Re: Religious Hatred is OK, But Racism is Bad?
hate cannot be unlawful. Hate is inside your head (or heart or soul, depending on religious belief). So far the government haven't been able to outlaw thinking.

Provided you do not intend to incite racial hatred you are not committing the offence.

Otherwise the Koran (not to mention other tones) itself would break the law.
